Buhari wins three out of six Abuja councils results declared

The Independent National Electoral Commission in
Abuja on Sunday received the presidential results
from three out of the six area councils in the Federal
Capital Territory.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that INEC listed the councils as Abaji, Kwali and Gwagwalada.
Prof. Michael Faborode, the State Collation Officer
for the presidential election in the FCT, announced
the results.

Faborode said results from Abaji showed that APC
scored 10,853 votes, while PDP got 7,762 votes out
of 19,284 votes cast.

He said 537 votes were voided.

Faborode said the APC scored 15,398 votes in Kwali,
while PDP netted 13,091 votes out of 31,034 votes
cast.

In Gwagwalada, the official said the APC scored
26,282 votes and PDP got 19,531 from 46,414 votes
cast.

According to him, the results from Bwari, Kuje and
AMAC were been expected.
