Congress, General Muhammadu Buhari, has
thrashed the incumbent and candidate of the
Peoples Democratic Party, President Goodluck
Jonathan, in the presidential poll in Ogun State
Buhari won in 13 out the state's 20 local government
areas.
Buhari won in Ipokia, Ifo, Odogbolu, Egbado North,
Egbado South, Abeokuta South, Abeokuta North,
Ijebu North East, Obafemi/Owode, Ewekoro, Ijebu
Ode, Ado-Odo/Ota and Odeda.
Jonathan won in Imeko Afon, Sagamu, Remo North,
Ogun Waterside, Ijebu East and Ijebu North.
And while Buhari got a total vote of 308,290,
Jonathan scored 207,950 votes.
