Buhari condoles with Maiduguri bomb blast victims

President Muhamadu Buhari has condoled with Borno state government and the families of the victims of the Maiduguri bomb blast.
Buhari gave the condolences on Wednesday after  a car bomb, believed to be the handiwork of Boko Haram, hit a convoy  in the outskirt of the northeastern Borno state’s capital of Maiduguri killing no fewer than 18 people and wounding more than 15 persons. Read Buhari said, “I am disheartened by the news of the bomb blast in Maiduguri.

 My condolences to the families of the victims, and the Borno State Government.” “Unable to hold territory, the severely degraded terrorist group now occasionally resorts to cowardly attacks on soft targets.” 

The President who commended the efforts of the military in battling the terrorist group also added that the attack further strengthened his administration’s resolve to completely rid the nation of the terror group. “I commend our military for their unflagging efforts. This attack has further strengthened our resolve to completely neutralize Boko Haram.”
