EKSU; Aftermath of our candid yearning, appreciating The Ekiti State Government.
Consonant to my yesterday's article, titled "EKSU; the last convocation, and my provocation.", with the report we received thereafter, it is now glaring that the article aligned concomitantly with the already scheduled plans of the EKITI STATE GOVERNMENT in doing the needful by availed the outstanding EKSU graduate with the highest CGPA of 4.87, an outstanding gift.
I'm elated, to state here unequivocally, that Master Tawose Olamide Timothy, a graduate of the Department Of Computer Science was handed a mouth-opening prize as he was appointed a staff of EKITI STATE UNIVERSITY, ADO EKITI whilst he will start his work after the completion of his NYSC.
I wish to clearly appreciate THE EKITI STATE GOVERNMENT, for deeming it imperatively sacrosanct to reward academic excellence and for encouraging students' academic uprightness, a gesture like this, will definitely speak development to the future of EKSU, and Ekiti State by extension.
However, more of such rewarding and encouragement attitude we seeks, that the gap different between the public and private universities' students be reduced, that the brilliancy, excellence and illustriousness of public university students will not be undermined, that all students should be seen as fortunate without any observable form of marginalization.
